i’m back at my local library, utilizing the internet. what a country!
unemployment isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. with no internet and no tv in our new place (and neither in sight), the evenings are kind of a long, dull, drawn-out affair. i was in such a funk yesterday that i kiboshed (sp?) trivia at sonny mclean’s in santa monica. i probably should have gone. next week, next week.
however, i did knock off michael chabon’s gentlemen of the road in just about 4 hours. not great, not awful. i think he should have stuck with his original title, though: jews with swords.
maybe i should sign up for a library card.
